Research themes
Villigst occasionally co-operates with professors to encourage graduates to write theses around a particular theme. Recent research themes have been: Gender and Media, Globalisation and Employment, Nanotechnology and Problems of Responsibility. Particularly interesting theses are published in "Villigst Profile".
Scholarships are awarded in compliance with the regulations of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and depend on the scholar's own income as well as on his or her personal/family situation. Scholars receive financial aid of up to 920 Euro a month plus a book allowance of 100 Euro.
Scholarships are initially awarded for one year. They can be extended on request, but may not exceed three years.
