Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung
Post graduates of all disciplines can apply for the scholarship regardless of their nationality. They must be enrolled in a state-run college or university or one approved by the state. The applicants are expected to be exceptionally skilled and show distinctive social engagement. Applicants normally should not be older than 30 years.
The PhD scholarship is granted independent by earnings and amounts to 920,- Euro monthly at present. Additionally, a monthly research grant of 100,- Euro at present and additional fees when needed are paid. In cases of study abroad and research trips holders can apply for support. Generally, the scholarship is granted for 2 years, in individual cases it can be extended up to two times for half year each.
